These boots were made for walking

On the first Sunday of every month, Green Action will be pulling on those walking boots and escaping Leeds.

The next upcoming walk will be on Sunday the 7th of February in Ilkley. Meet at 10:30 at Leeds train station.

So, where do you want to go? Suggestions for walks? What’s the best way to get out of Leeds – bus or train? Should we run cycle trips as well? Discuss!

Introduction to Radical Roots

Radical Routes is a network of radical co-ops whose members are committed to working for positive social change. The network is made up mainly of housing co-ops of various sizes (none with more than 16 members), a few workers co-ops and a couple of social centres.

Green Action want to help other unis set-up simmilar co-ops and be more involved in the co-op movement at large.  We are considering joining Radical Roots as it would give us a chance to meet people in the alternative lifestyle that the co-op is aligned with and could help members find jobs/ homes / ideas with how to continue with the movement after uni.  Radical Roots is a national group.  Come along to find out more about it.
